CMO acknowledges work of the CPPC

In March 2010, Sir Liam Donaldson published his 2009 Annual Report and his last report as Chief Medical Officer. Entitled ‘On the State of Public Health’, he reviewed the progress made on recommendations made in previous reports including the recommendations on pain.

He praised the work of the Chronic Pain Policy Coalition as well as other key stakeholders such as the British Pain Society and the Faculty of Pain Medicine in helping to forward the pain agenda.
