The APSRG facilitates effective, productive communication and exchange between Parliament, Government and resource management stakeholders and to raise awareness of sustainable resource issues within Parliament.

 

To achieve this, we organise a regular programme of parliamentary seminars, receptions and conferences with relevant Ministers, Government officials and other high-profile speakers from the sustainable resource sector and beyond. These focus on the key topical policy issues and provide substantial opportunities for engagement and input from members.  

 

We also organise smaller round-table discussions and events in partnership with Government departments, parliamentary groups and other organisations on specific issues.
